The Resident District Commissioner (RDC) Masindi district, Emmy Ngabirano today Sunday the 21st of August 2022 worshipped with us at Masindi town Lutheran church. The RDC's worship with us is part of his familiarisation initiative with the Church as we prepare to host the Minister for Presidency Hon. Milly Babirye Babalanda to commission a magnificent Cathedral located at Kihande 1 cell here in Masindi municipality. The said function is scheduled for next Sunday the 28th of August 2022. Among other activities that day, will include the launching of a 10 year Strategic Plan for Midwestern Deanery and launch of Bunyoro Lutheran community maltpurpose SACCO. In his address to the congregants, RDC Emmy Ngabirano said he was impressed with development the Lutheran Church has brought in the district which include provision of safe water by drilling of boreholes, extension of a power line to Kihande area on top of building a magnificent church in the area. He however, challenged Christians to embrace the government parish model program so as to be able to enhance thier household income. As a Church we would like to assure our Christians and the general public that all is set for the function. We only implored every one to embrace it Rev.
